Saturday Morning Cartoons... and links

Okay, so it's approaching dinner time on Saturday as I write this, but I wanted to make sure you guys got a few links for the weekend:

First you need to go to Firebrand of the AL and what Tim Daloisio has to say about Youk, Pedroia, Lowrie and Lowell in his "For Better or Worse" segments... David Ortiz is next up. You can aslo leave your predictions for each player while your there - a cool feature, IMO.

Pat Hickey also has his Top 40 Red Sox Prospects listed and there has been lots of commentary, so click over and add your two cents as you scroll through the future opf the Red Sox.

We heard Kevin Millar's parting shots earlier this week when the O's told him he wouldn't be offered a contract in 2009... but Big League Stew has some behind the scenes foootage of Millar's version of Oriole Magic. Kevin Millar with a microphone... 'nuff said.

Fenway West wants to know if you think the current Red Sox lineup can win the AL East.

Sox Addict has afew link of his own, and since MC's always willing to blug The Bottom Line, I thought I'd return the favor...

Rob Bradford reports that Mike Lowell took 50 cuts off a tee this week. That's good. But Lowell also found out he won't be playing for Puerto Rico in the WBC. That's... bad? I'm more than okay with that. I'd much rather he focus on getting healthy for the MLB season.

And Jimmy at The House That Dewey Built wonders if "good sportsmanship" cost the Red Sox a championship last year. Synopsis: He feels that Sean Casey had no right being on the playoff roster and that Jeff Bailey might have been a better choice...

Lastly, here's your Saturday Morning Cartoon... save it for Sunday Morning if you like.
