Piniero struggled in his last start, allowing 6 runs on 11 hits to the Yankees in a 6-10 loss. Before that however, he tallied 7 wins in 8 starts, holding opponents to three runs or less in 7 of those 8 games. Pineiro took a tough loss the last time he faced the Sox, holding us to 2 runs, despite 8 hits and 3 walks through 6...but that was on the road where he is 3-5 with a 6.67 ERA and a .318 BAA.
